WEDNESDAY / FRIDAY / SUNDAY
Probably the most popular excursion on the Island, you will visit Câmara de Lobos, the village made famous by Sir Winston Churchill, the onto the seaside town of Ribeira Brava. From there you will travel up through the lush valley region along the mountain pass of Encumeada at 1007 m, with a stunning view over the north and the south coast. Next you will descend to the North coast from São Vicente, along Seixal and across to Porto Moniz famed for its natural volcanic rock swimming pools and stopping here for lunch. From here you will go through the mountains reaching the Plateau at Paúl da Serra, 1500 m. Then we descend to the southwest coast passing Calheta & Ponta do Sol. Our final stop is Cabo Girão (the 2nd highest sea cliff in the World).
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The ticket for a tour entitles the client to transportation, meals and entrance fees when applicable. Extras are not included. Children between 5 and 9 years of age will pay 50% of the normal price. Insurance required by Portuguese law. Cancelations made less than 12 hours in advanced will result in a 50% refund.
