QUARTA / SEXTA / DOMINGO Começamos pela vila piscatória de Câmara de Lobos, seguindo até a Ribeira Brava. Após uma breve paragem subimos até à Encumeada, a 1007 m de altitude, com vista magnifica sobre as 2 vertentes da ilha. Seguimos descendo a exuberante costa norte até ao Porto Moniz, passando por São Vicente e Seixal. Paragem para Almoço junto das piscinas do Porto Moniz. Iniciamos o regresso, subindo até ao planalto do Paúl da Serra, depois descemos até a Calheta e Ponta do Sol. Antes de chegarmos ao Funchal, passagem pelo Cabo Girão. WEDNESDAY / FRIDAY / SUNDAY Probably the most popular excursion on the Island, you will visit Câmara de Lobos, the village made famous by Sir Winston Churchill, the onto the seaside town of Ribeira Brava. From there you will travel up through the lush valley region along the mountain pass of Encumeada at 1007 m, with a stunning view over the north and the south coast. Next you will descend to the North coast from São Vicente, along Seixal and across to Porto Moniz famed for its natural volcanic rock swimming pools and stopping here for lunch. From here you will go through the mountains reaching the Plateau at Paúl da Serra, 1500 m. Then we descend to the southwest coast passing Calheta & Ponta do Sol. Our final stop is Cabo Girão (the 2nd highest sea cliff in the World). MERCREDI / VENDREDI / DIMANCHE Par la route littorale , départ de Funchal en direction de Câmara de Lobos, petit port de pêche . L'itinéraire passe ensuite dans la station balnéaire de Ribeira Brava en par la vallée , vous rejoindrez le col d'Encumeada (panorama sur les deux versants de l'île). Descente fascinante jusqu'à Porto Moniz, en passant par São Vicente et Seixal. Arrêt pour le déjeuner près des piscines naturelles creusées dans des rochers de basalte noir. (Baignade possible l'été) Retour par le plateau de Paúl da Serra situé à 1500 m d'altitude, puis descente jusqu'à Calheta et Ponta do Sol, région où sont cultivées la banane et la canne à sucre. Pour terminer la journée, arrêtea Cabo Girão, 2ème falaise plus haute au monde (580 m à pic sur la mer).
